Mini Mentoring Sessions

About the Mini Mentoring Program, Message from Marja Hurley, M.D., GWIMS Chair

The GWIMS steering committee has developed this innovative program to assist in the career advancement of early career female faculty in the School of Medicine through brief but targeted mentorship opportunities with outstanding faculty members on campus. Female faculty members can request a one-on-one mentoring session on her topic of choice and will then be matched with a senior faculty member willing to provide guidance in that area (see below for options).

How It Works

A one-on-one meeting will be scheduled at a time and place suitable to both faculty members. Prior to meeting, the mentee will be required to send the mentor her updated CV and complete a brief form indicating her goals for the session. This process has been designed to maximize the effectiveness of these meetings.

Requesting a Meeting

To request a meeting, please enter your information below and choose one topic. If you would like to schedule multiple mentoring sessions, please submit a separate request for each one. An appropriate mentor will be chosen based on your interests and their expertise. You will be contacted within the next few days to set up your meeting.
